Michael has been painting in oils for most of his life, mainly showing scenes of people in cafes, on street corners and in railway stations. This reflects his fascination with people and their activities. He is also one of our most highly rated teachers; his classes are always attended by a cross-section of abilities, and even the absolute beginner can make a start in one of Michael’s inspiring classes. Experienced artists attend also, finding his unassuming, gentle manner an on-going inspiration.
