Carol writes "Painting and drawing have been a life-long interest for me. Only when I retired did I have time to develop my own skills properly; attending classes with professional artists here in the north-east.

I work mainly in acrylics and pastels, focussing on seascape and landscape, particularly woodland scenes, in which I try to capture the contrasting effects of light and shade."
