 Peter Endean

Pete began painting at a very early age, winning national awards on BBC's Sketch Club programme. He studied graphic reproduction at Newcastle College of Art and Industrial Design, but is self-taught in the field of fine art,

working in pastel, watercolour, pen and ink.

Influenced by Edward Hopper, Norman Rockwell and Norman Cornish, most of his paintings reflect his experiences during his lifetime in the North East. Despite many social and structural changes, the natural beauty of the region remains, and this is a constant source of inspiration.
