After a childhood in Lancashire I came to the northeast to college and stayed.

I love to sketch and this hobby was expanded with a summer course at St Martins in London where I used different media. I was also challenged by the interesting locations chosen by the tutor. I use sketches and photographs for my watercolour paintings. I have a wide subject matter, a simple open style and love to play with colour.
