John Fulthorpe
John took up painting just over 10 years ago shortly before he retired.
He has always had a keen interest in photography and uses his photographs as a basis for some of his paintings.
John's subject matter is varied; he enjoys portraiture using pencil and charcoal though his preferred medium is oils. He also works with pastels and acrylics.
John is a member of the Gateshead Art Society and the North of England Art Club and is the Exhibition Secretary for the FNAS.
