Jenny began painting in 1997, and has had success exhibiting and selling paintings at the Coquetdale and other art galleries, including the Shipley Art Gallery, as a member of Gateshead Art Society.

She covers a wide variety of subjects including cityscapes, landscapes, still life, etc., in fact anything which she feels she wants to paint. Her aim is to try and produce work which is interesting and/or atmospheric. Most of the paintings are in oil, either unframed on canvas, or framed on oil painting paper. She also like to work in ink and watercolour.
