I love portrait painting using pastels, and experiment constantly in oils and acrylics.

My subject matter varies. 

I get an idea and paint it.

I get moody and paint.

Sudden inspiration can spark the urge.

I love the immediacy and spontaneity of producing something special in colour, form and feeling in paint.

Imagination has a lot to do with it.

As does observation, care and patience. 

Painting is creative and satisfying.
