I was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and have lived in the North East all of my life.

Painting has always been a passion of mine and I have painted for most of my life

using watercolours, pastels and oil paints. I find most of my inspiration for subjects to paint in the border counties of Northern England. The mountains and lakes of Cumbria and the hills, moorland and the wonderful coast of Northumberland.

I currently exhibit in The Coquetdale Art Gallery in Rothbury, Main Street Gallery in Sedburgh, Exhibitions in the Shipley Art Gallery with the Gateshead Art Society and various venues with Morpeth Art Group.
