Chrissie Buckley
After studying fine art at Coventry College of Art and then doing a fashion course at St. Martin's School of Art in London I went on to do a teaching course at St. Mary's College, Twickenham. I then taught Art, English and Drama until I retired.
I now enjoy painting and drawing in a variety of media including pastels, watercolour, pencil and ink together with print-making. I particularly enjoy landscapes and wildlife, and I produce a pen and ink drawing for the natural history page of each issue of 'Over the Bridges', the community magazine of Upper Coquetdale. I like to experiment with different print techniques such as lino-cuts, monoprints and mixed media.
