Harry Rose
Harry Rose is a retired lecturer living in North Shields and has been interested in art for many years. When he was a bit younger he was a volunteer warden for Northumberland Country Park, and still is a member of the Northumbrian Tent Camping Association. This has created a deep a love of the Northumberland countryside, which shines through in his paintings.
He has worked in all of the mediums, but his medium of choice is acrylics because of the great flexibility it offers. Formally inspired by the vistas of our lovely hills, he is now looking at the more intimate scenes of streams and woodland.
