I spend time in Rothbury, Northumberland with my Mum who has lived there for many years and enjoy painting hugely, particularly canvases using acrylics, as well as producing hand-made cards. Most of my work is very colourful and with lots of texture. I do mainly acrylics and mixed media work.The subjects are quite varied, but my main passion is landscapes.

In all honesty my biggest passion is being out in the countryside, right in the middle of it all, and my painting is in some ways just ‘what I bring home’. The love of being outside, whether in the garden or walking in the gorgeous countryside we are so lucky to have around us inspires my work.I am a strong believer in following your dream whatever it is; we aren't on this planet for long so go for it if it makes you happy

Originally from London  I had always dreamt of living in the North, having a nice country garden, a spaniel and an AGA, not forgetting the mandatory washing line. Here is where my painting story began, mixed in with my visiting podiatry work. I enjoy attending local art courses and visiting other galleries and studios.

Most of my paintings are supplied mounted in painted wooden frames hand-made by my husband John.
